Coffee consumed since Friday: 2 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, zero on Tuesday or Wednesday
New habits I’m trying to establish: body brushing, vitamin E on my face where rash is worst.
Things impeding my progress: woken at least once during the night by one child (not getting solid sleep). Woken by children every morning (not waking naturally). Not getting to bed before 10pm. Mould & damp coming into bedroom via leak in roof. Eat more organic eggs!
Tuesday: breakfast at 9am was a raw vegan beetroot & chocolate cake slice from About Life (beetroot, Brazil nuts, desiccated coconut, coconut milk, dates, coconut oil, cacao powder, raisins, psyllium husk & salt), deep green BUCHI Kombucha. Lunch: salad w raw purple & green cabbage, organic smoked salmon & 1 avocado. 2 cups of Gen Mai Cha organic tea. Dinner: roast sweet potato, raw mushrooms, cos w dukkah. Dessert: home made chocolate (cacao, peppermint oil, coconut oil & rice malt syrup). 2 cups mint & lavender tea. I was feeling surprisingly bloated at bedtime.
Wednesday: please don’t judge me – breakfast at 9am: raw vegan carrot slice from About Life (carrot, cashews, dates, coconut flour, almond meal, coconut oil, sultanas, coconut, water, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger & salt). 2 Kuranda fig & walnut seed bars with tahini & sweetened w rice malt syrup. 2 cups organic Gen Mai Cha tea. 2 small organic red apples. Lunch: quinoa, baby spinach, rocket, cauliflower, organic broccoli & freshly squeezed lemon. Afternoon tea: Loving Earth superfood bar w maqui & gubinge, Loving Earth raw vegan carob Luvju. Dinner at 6pm: roast sweet potato, cos, purple cabbage, organic carrot, raw mushrooms, tin of tuna, olive oil, organic whole grain mustard. About 400ml water after hockey training. 1 cup organic Qi white Berry tea. Again I’m feeling more bloated/uncomfortable than normal.
I must be going a little crazy as my five year old repeated the story to my Mum “Mummy was so excited that the mayonnaise is dairy-free & gluten-free” hahaha.
